Our Philosophy

Rise Bespoke Foods are a family-run business established in 2014. We are foodies. We love everything about food, and we put our passion into every dish we cook.  Working from a newly renovated kitchen in a former village pub in Staffordshire, we provide:

  • Bespoke food items for professional kitchens
  • Event catering
  • Food-to-go for quality-focused retailers and caterers

Small enough to provide a personalised service and big enough to deliver at scale, we’ve built a reputation for quality, attention to detail, and efficient delivery. We don’t compete on price, but win business based on the quality of our food and service.

We believe in:

  • Cooking from fresh with carefully-sourced ingredients.
  • Producing bespoke food items and menus to meet individual customer needs.

We use only the best ingredients, sourcing locally wherever possible. Our meat, for example, comes from companies like Perry’s in Eccleshall (awarded Britain's Best Butcher by the Countryside Alliance), and is locally reared to high welfare standards.

Our Story

The company is run by husband and wife team Stuart and Sally Kennedy.

With both parents working in catering, Stuart knew from an early age that he wanted to be a chef. The only boy in his school Home Economics class, he then went on to gain an HND in Hotel Management.

Stuart’s experiences include sous chef and senior sous chef stints at various 3 rosette hotels, a spell as head chef at a YMCA camp in the USA, and several seasons in ski resorts. He spent 8 years working as a catering operations manager, running functions for up to 1500, and has taught catering at Stafford College.


Rise Bespoke Foods was born after Stuart launched a part-time hog roast venture while still working as a college tutor. The idea proved so successful he decided to quit teaching and establish a full time catering business.

Sally came on board as the company grew, bringing sales, management and hospitality expertise gained in a variety of settings including the race course sector.

Stuart and Sally are now supported by a core team plus a network of specialist professionals.
